He also toiled many hours working on farms in the Oakdale, Pennsylvania area. His views on life come from a background of hand-to-mouth existence in a blue collar, coal mining area, with personal experiences from the streets and influences from a rural farming community. He grew up with a handicapped friend, married a handicapped woman and has a severely handicapped daughter, as well as two healthy sons. His message to all is to look past peoples exterior to see the person within. This book contains a series of short stories that reflect William’s life and his views-views based on common-sense and a strong sense of right and wrong. With a lifelong curiosity in what motivates us humans to do the things we do, each story evolves around the human condition. Some of the stories are true and some are fiction. Some will make you laugh- some might bring a tear or two. A few might make you blush and others will make you think. Hopefully, all will entertain.
